Job Description:

Lead/manage performance engineers and developers in the Performance & Quality Platform Engineering team. Mentor and develops engineering talent, as a thought leader of the organization. Drive performance engineering epics and initiatives by contributing to stakeholder, communication, vendor, and financial management. Ensure best engineering practices are followed and adopted for operational excellence. Act as an escalation point for issues related to delivery of technical components. Maintain broad knowledge in the area of Performance Engineering frameworks, tools and capabilities. Foster the adoption of shift-left and shift-right of Performance Engineering for Product and Platform teams. Provide Technical support to Performance Engineering platform initiatives. Manage individual contributors within the engineering organization. Position is fixed based in Marlborough office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of software engineering experience. Experience must include:

Four (4) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

Performance Engineering
Load testing tools Neoload or Performance Center
APM tools AppDynamics or Dynatrace

Three (3) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

Experience in Agile delivery space
Troubleshooting application performance issue

One (1) year of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

Leading engineering teams

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary: $223,600/year.
