Suncor Stainless, Inc., located in the Plymouth Industrial Park, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate must gain a good understanding and be able to perform all duties, across all areas of the warehouse. This includes pulling & packing orders, breaking down & receiving of product, processing paperwork, loading, and unloading trailers, returns, cycle counts, and general housekeeping.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare orders for shipping by verifying that product picked matches items on packing slip, and quantities match.

Takes steps necessary to verify invoices, bills of lading or other available documents are present and correct prior to shipping.

Take steps to ensure that items are shipped correctly using selected shipping methods and requirements selected on provided packing slip. (Used due diligence to ensure orders are picked with complete accuracy.)

Make sure proper stock rotation occurs for incoming products.

Occasional interaction between the sales department to help orders that need priority or assistance in determining the proper shipping method. Customer service.

Continual care of the equipment used is necessary to properly conduct your shipping duties.

Organize warehouse locations and maintain a clean safe working environment.

Receiving responsibilities to include unloading inbound freight, breaking down crates/pallets, segregating, and counting parts utilizing packing list, quality and material checks and put away.

Ability to use devices for product quality, dimensions, and material accuracy.

Process returns and performs cycle counts as needed.

Ability to process freight quotes.

Ability to perform all warehouse functions.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills and Abilities:

General computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail combined with good verbal and written communication.

Must gain knowledge of all Suncor parts to facilitate the efficiency in shipping operations.

Proper certification of material handling equipment.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
