Role: Azure DevOps Engineer
Location: Hartford, CT(Hybrid)
Position: W2 or 1099
Overview
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), and Docker to support the automation and optimization of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), specifically in a containerized Azure cloud environment. You will play a critical role in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring application reliability, and maintaining compliance and security standards.
Duties
- Azure Infrastructure Management: Create, manage, and monitor resources within Microsoft Azure
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Containerization: Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker
- Kubernetes (AKS) Management: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters within Azure
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate provisioning using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or equivalents
- Monitoring: Use tools such as Grafana to monitor infrastructure and pipeline performance
- Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps practices including running security scans on code and infrastructure
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to streamline workflows across the SDLC
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.94 - $55.27 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
