We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join the Deals Experience Team . We are a team of Front End, Back End, and Full Stack Engineers in an exciting space with both Website and Mobile App Experiences.

Job Description:

You will be part of the engineering team responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that will reach massive scale.

Contribute to the architecture and development of the digital platform and tools to support key e-commerce and cloud technology initiatives.

Use your creative and innovation-driven mindset to articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, security, and usability.

You will build and enhance core tool that are needed to support development, testing and integrations leading to Continuous Delivery.

Use modern web development and cloud tools/technologies to build customer facing experiences.

Skills Overview:

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?

7+ years of Full Stack Front End / Backend Development Experience.

Solid technical communication skills with business partners, product partners and other engineer teams.

3+ years of experience with modern javascript front-end frameworks & libraries such as React, Redux, Node, Express, NextJS, with RESTful API services.

3+ years of experience with GraphQL schemas, resolver functions, and datasources, Apollo Server / Client.

Experience with advanced configurations of Webpack, Babel, Typescript, Eslint, Module Federation, Micro-frontends, etc.

Experience with Javascript testing library's such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright, etc.

Experience in test-driven development practices, pair programming, continuous integration and deployment practices.

Experience with backend libraries/frameworks like Java/Groovy, Python, Spring, Spock, Gradle, etc

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

Experience with CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions.

Experience with creating / using Front End Component with libraries / frameworks such as Bootstrap, Material UI, Tailwind, Sass, etc.

Strong Debugging and troubleshooting skills and experience with tools such as Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Dynatrace, etc.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra.

Experience with development, deployment and maintaining Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google)

Experience in understanding and implementing different integration/security patterns

Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira

Experience with analytical models and data-driven technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using modern technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Manage and optimize databases using MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS services.
• Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN for code management.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $80.39 per hour
