About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Database Administrator / C# Developer to join our growing wireless business. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and expanding the systems that power our nationwide operation. This is a hybrid position, you’ll work both remotely and from our Fremont, NE headquarters as needed.

We’re a wireless MVNO with over 70 retail stores, and growing, offering no-contract wireless plans, repair services, and wholesale programs nationwide.

Core Technical Skills

SQL Server Expertise

• Database schema design and normalization
• Writing & optimizing stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Performance tuning, indexing strategies
• Backup, restore, and disaster recovery
• Security and user access control

C# Development

• Standalone desktop apps (WinForms, WPF, or Console)
• Object-oriented programming, exception handling, logging
• File I/O, JSON/XML serialization

Middle-Tier Architecture

• Business logic layer development
• Dependency injection (Singleton, Scoped, Transient lifecycles)
• Data access via Entity Framework or Dapper

API Integration

• Working with RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Authentication (OAuth, API Keys, JWT)
• Parsing JSON/XML and handling failures gracefully

Additional Tools & Skills

• Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Visual Studio Debugging Tools, SQL Profiler
• Unit Testing with MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit
• Swagger/OpenAPI for documentation
• Awareness of CI/CD pipelines

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year (based on experience)

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Based in the Omaha/Lincoln area with ability to commute to Fremont HQ when needed

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
