Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our DevOps practices. This role will focus on building scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and CloudBees CDRO, managing cloud infrastructure, and enabling seamless software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience in Python and Java, and a passion for automation, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and CloudBees CDRO.
· Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
· Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
· Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and Java to support DevOps workflows.
· Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
· Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, tools, and methodologies across engineering teams.
· Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
· Ensure security, compliance, and governance are integrated into DevOps processes.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
· Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and CloudBees CDRO.
· Proficiency in Python and Java for scripting and automation.
· Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
· Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
· Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps tools.
