The Engineering Systems and Data Administrator will be responsible for the management, data entry and data analysis of the core engineering utilities. This includes coordination with the manufacturing operations teams to create, maintain and analyze part numbers in the ERP systems across two manufacturing locations.

- Administrative management of active third-party certifications (UL, FM, ATEX)
- Coordinate with third-party agencies for engineering change requests and new certification submissions
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong familiarity with Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools
- Preference given to candidates with experience with Solidworks EPDM, Infor XA and Syteline
- Experience working with diverse teams on multiple sites
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, capable of analyzing and solving problems through innovative thought and experience
- Experience in an engineering environment with significant manufacturing exposure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff, suppliers, and operations
- Demonstrated success handling multiple priorities in changing environments
- Able to identify, and proactively remove obstacles to complete objectives
- Disciplined and well-organized in documentation of assigned projects
- Plans, data entry, workflows and metric reporting
- Ability and willingness to travel to support project objectives
- 3+ years of experience in engineering systems and data administration preferred
- Associate or baccalaureate degree and practical experience in Engineering, Math or Science preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization in person, on the phone, and in writing
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficiency in MS Office utilities
- Proficiency in ERP software
- Infor XA and Syteline preferred
- Proficiency in PDM software
- Solidworks EPDM preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee must have adequate hearing and visual acuity. The position requires being seated a good portion of the day. Employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
PPE REQUIREMENTS:
In compliance with OSHA standards it has been determined that Safety glasses and footwear are required on the plant floor
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Working environment is in an air-conditioned cubical with occasionally physically going into an unheated/air- conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting where the employee may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, cleaning solvents, lubricants, or noise
WORK HOURS:
- Expected to work 40+ hours weekly
- Office Hours are generally 8am – 5pm but may vary due to business needs.
