Job description
We are seeking a dedicated System Administrator to manage and support the internal IT physical infrastructure (Servers, switches, firewalls, & workstations) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, EDR, RMM, PSA, and client applications) as well as the infrastructures of our MSP clients. You will be responsible for ensuring system reliability, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations, SOC II, PCI, and ISO 27001:2015, while proactively addressing technical challenges to minimize downtime and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Essential Functions/Primary Job Responsibilities

- Maintain and configure the operation of computer systems and servers to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and upgrade computer components and software as needed to keep systems current and secure.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by performing diagnostic testing and applying effective solutions.
- Document problems and solutions appropriately to maintain clear records for future reference.
- Perform backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection and disaster recovery.
- Participate in reporting activities for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Oversee desktop and helpdesk support efforts, ensuring that all applications, workstations, and equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Identify any problems in the system, anticipate potential issues, and repair systems and software when necessary.
- Facilitate internal training for associates as well as client-facing training classes
- Set up new users and provide them with access to the intranet and other necessary resources.
- Manage and maintain file servers to ensure data availability and security.
- Operate the organization’s firewall to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Manage internal/external EDR deployments and configurations.
- Monitor the internet connection for security risks and take preventive measures.
- Employ the latest security protocols to safeguard organizational data and systems.
- Monitor the local area network (LAN) for threats, errors, or performance issues.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned to support IT operations and organizational goals.
Physical Requirements
Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment; talk and hear; see and be able to read, write, and interpret written documents; occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be able to meet these requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,336.00 - $81,583.00 per year
