Job Title: Python Network Engineer
Location: Bonita Springs, FL (3-4 Days Onsite per Week)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Rate: $60/hr. on C2C
USC, GC, GC-EAD and H4-EAD Only Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Python Network Engineer to support network automation, infrastructure operations, and enterprise networking initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong Python scripting experience along with hands-on exposure to Cisco and/or Fortinet environments. This role will work closely with network engineering and infrastructure teams to automate tasks, improve operational efficiency, and support ongoing network projects. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Python scripts for network automation and operational tasks Automate configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes Work with Cisco and Fortinet network environments Support SD-WAN, routing, switching, firewall, and network infrastructure activities Integrate automation solutions with APIs, network tools, and monitoring platforms Assist with network deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure optimization Troubleshoot network and automation-related issues Collaborate with network architects and engineering teams on enterprise initiatives Create technical documentation and automation workflows Required Skills: Strong experience with Python scripting/programming Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies Experience with Fortinet/FortiGate environments is preferred Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Routing, Switching, Firewalls Experience with network automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, or Paramiko Familiarity with REST APIs and automation integrations Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SD-WAN environments Exposure to Data Center networking Knowledge of Linux systems and scripting Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or similar are a plus Work Model: Hybrid role requiring 3-4 days onsite in Bonita Springs, FL
