Job description
Job Purpose
Responsible for all aspects of IT including, but not limited to daily maintenance, IT support, and troubleshooting of issues related to IT
Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for network / security maintenance in the warehouse
- Responsible for warehouse IT technical support for daily operations
- Responsible for all PC, laptops, PDA’s, Scanners, and hardware maintenance, including upgrades
- Responsible for reporting and installing all user software including users e-mail on laptops and phone
- Perform daily backup operations
- Perform as a PLEX level-1 support and escalate to level-2 in a timely manner.
- Ability to document and develop IT configuration and installation procedures
- Perform ongoing hardware and software upgrades as required
- Perform daily maintenance and monitoring of server and network infrastructure/File shares
- Perform weekly maintenance on Access Points to identify and resolve blackout signals.
- Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and software problems
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
- Tasks established by Senior Purchasing/ Materials Management Manager
- Project Management
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience, Education and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in IT required.
- 3-5 years of IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with PLEX Manufacturing ERP system – Highly Preferred.
- Automotive experience a plus.
- Strong working knowledge in Excel.
- Familiar with Unix and Windows operating system.
- Proficient with Active Directory and network printing.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux OS and Windows 20lb QUO.
- Skilled in VB/VBA and form processing.
- Able to diagnose Symbol warehouse scanners, (or similar) upgrade, test, and certify results – preferably using the PLEX Manufacturing ERP system.
- Ability to perform integration testing between mobile devices and the (PLEX Manufacturing) ERP system.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL queries and data mining.
- Detail oriented and task driven.
- Ability to work independently.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) proficiency - highly desired.
- Willingness to learn new methodologies and programming languages necessary to achieve specific tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
