Position Summary:
The ERP Specialist is responsible for the administration, optimization, and strategic advancement of the organization’s ERP and business intelligence environments. This role serves as the primary owner of the ERP system, with a strong preference for Infor XA, and partners closely with Operations, Production, Purchasing, Project Management, Finance, and Leadership to ensure systems support accurate reporting, efficient processes, and scalable growth. The position also leads Power BI reporting and analytics efforts to enhance data-driven decision making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Administration & Optimization
- Serve as the primary system owner for the ERP platform, preferably Infor XA, including configuration, maintenance, security, and performance.
- Partner with Operations, Production, Purchasing, Project Management and Finance to understand business processes and translate requirements into system solutions.
- Lead ERP enhancements, upgrades, and testing efforts to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with vendors or consultants as needed, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain system documentation, controls, and best practices.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Develop and maintain ERP reports, queries, and dashboards to support operational and financial decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency between ERP data and reporting outputs.
- Support audits and compliance requirements through accurate system documentation and reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements that support business objectives.
- Improve data accessibility and visualization to support decision making across the organization.
Training & Process Improvement:
- Train end users on ERP functionality, best practices, and standard processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational and business goals.
IT & Systems Leadership:
- Provide day-to-day oversight of IT systems, integrations, and data flows.
- Evaluate opportunities for automation, process improvements, and system efficiencies.
- Support internal users through training, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with leadership on IT strategy, system roadmap planning, and technology investments.
- Ensure appropriate system controls, data security, and compliance with internal policies.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for ERP and business intelligence systems.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and movement within the manufacturing environment.
- Ability to navigate production areas as needed to support system validation and process understanding.

Qualifications:
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing, finance, or operations processes.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
- Team-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement and shared success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Infor XA / XA10 ERP systems.
- SQL, reporting, or data analysis experience.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or major system upgrades.
- Familiarity with shop floor operations or prior manufacturing experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
