Robertson Heating Supply Co., a 92-year-old distributor, is looking to fill an opening for a full time Software Developer to join out IT Department. This is an IN PERSON/IN OFFICE POSITION IN ALLIANCE, OHIO

The Role:

As a result of the company’s continued growth in the heating and plumbing wholesale industry, we have a need for an additional full-time entry-level software developer. Duties include application (web & mobile) development/maintenance using PHP and MySQL in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software systems
• Design, develop and deploy new features using PHP & MySQL
• Collaborate with other members of IT Dept, corporate staff and end users to define requirements and deliver solutions

Hours: 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri, may be asked to rarely participate in Saturday coverage rotation 8AM-11AM 3 or fewer Saturdays a year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, SQL
• Web application design

Nice-To-Haves:

• Comfortable with Linux on the command line
• Git version control experience
• Any experience doing software development in a business environment
• React Native and/or VueJS experience
• Computer networking knowledge
