Craft & Communicate, LLC, a senior living-focused marketing and PR agency, is looking for a Director of Web and Digital to lead our agency's digital growth and expansion.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Web and Digital to lead our web presence and digital user experience. This role combines leadership, project management, and technical expertise to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of our digital platforms—primarily web and mobile.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in web development, UX/UI design, and WordPress, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute digital projects from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of company websites and digital platforms, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and a user-centered design.
• Oversee the design and UX strategy, ensuring that user flows and interfaces align with brand guidelines and audience needs.
• Oversee all digital processes, platforms, and best practices, from marketing automation to landing pages to messaging.
• Manage API integrations and third-party connections to enhance digital functionality and data flow.
• Supervise a small team of designers, developers, and content managers; support professional development and foster collaboration.
• Manage digital projects from initiation to completion—including scoping, timelines, and budget allocation—using Agile or similar methodologies.
• Champion continuous improvement across web properties, staying informed of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Partner with C&C teams to align digital initiatives with organizational goals.
• Conduct ongoing performance analysis of digital properties and recommend optimization strategies for SEO, accessibility, and conversion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web development experience, including front-end and back-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience with WordPress CMS, including custom theme and plugin development
• 2+ years in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing design systems, user journeys, and prototypes
• 2+ years managing digital projects and small teams; experience with tools like Asana and Trello
• Experience with API integrations and cross-platform functionality
• Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools
• Experience with CRM integrations
• Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing tools

Additional Info

• This is a remote position with occasional office time; local to DFW strongly preferred.
• All positions are contract for the first 90 days.

Pay: $101,507.00 - $111,863.00 per year
