Job description
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Network Administrator / Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and telecommunications to support a busy infrastructure team. This is a Level 3 support role within a collaborative environment that values teamwork, learning, and professional development. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with network troubleshooting, telecom systems, and large-scale infrastructure projects, including a major wireless access point (AP) replacement initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 network and telecom support in a high-volume environment
- Troubleshoot and support voice and collaboration technologies, including:
- Cisco Call Manager
- Microsoft Teams Calling
- AudioCodes
- Session Border Controllers (SBC) and SIP
- Support and administer network infrastructure, including WAN/LAN and firewalls
- Work with Cisco Meraki networking equipment (Fortinet experience is a bonus)
- Partner with third-party vendors to support a large-scale project replacing thousands of wireless access points
- Provide next-day support and troubleshooting for phone systems and Teams calling
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with internal users and team members
- Collaborate closely with a team of full-time employees and contractors
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in network administration or engineering
- Strong troubleshooting skills across networking and telecom environments
- Experience with telecom/voice systems (Cisco, Teams Calling, SIP, SBCs)
- Solid understanding of WAN/LAN networking
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki
- Reliable, dependable, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service and collaboration skills
- CCNA or working toward networking certifications (preferred)
- Experience with Fortinet (preferred)
- Telecom-heavy background (preferred)
