KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Cloud DevOps to join our Global Technology & Group which is part of KPMG International.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and automate cloud solutions across Azure, GCP, and AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and scripting for Windows and Linux environments
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks for infrastructure deployments and testing to ensure code quality and reliability
- Support AI-driven initiatives by integrating automation and cloud services to enable scalable AI/ML workloads
- Build features in Python and TypeScript for Azure-native microservices; containerize services and update basic Kubernetes/AKS manifests used by the team
- Wire simple agentic flows using Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Agentic Framework, LangChain/LangGraph, and Google ADK; connect agents to tools via MCP and handle basic streaming responses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver effective solutions
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of recent experience in IT cloud development and automation engineering
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or one year equivalent work experience)
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and AI technologies
- Proficiency in data analysis and programming languages like Python, PowerShell, or others used in AI/ML development
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration skills

California Salary Range: $61800 - $122800
