Our client, a well-known guru in the fantasy football world, is seeking a freelance Full Stack Web Developer to lead a time-sensitive platform migration. This is a hands-on, tactical rebuild – no design refresh or new features, just smart and streamlined execution of a clean migration. The current site is hosted and maintained by a third party, and the source code will not be available. The right candidate will be comfortable working from data dumps, scrapes, and partner integrations to recreate core functionality.

You Will:

- Rebuild a static-content-heavy fantasy football site using modern web tools

- Implement account registration/authentication and subscription management (via Braintree)

- Recreate admin dashboard functionality for user and subscription management

- Coordinate partner webhook setup with third parties

- Manage production environment setup: source control, hosting, VPN access, email services

- Execute QA testing and verification (including email SPF/DKIM/DMARC compliance)

- Migrate full subscriber database and manage DNS cutover

- Set up password reset flow if current encryption methods are incompatible

You Have:

- Proficiency in full stack development (frontend, backend, database)

- Experience with WordPress and Braintree integrations

- Comfort working without access to legacy source code

- Experience migrating large userbases and handling subscription platforms

- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
