Role: Senior DevSecOps Engineer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: Full time - Long term

Job Duties:
Required Skills:
Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment of systems on AWS cloud.
Configure, deploy, and manage infrastructure in AWS, leveraging core services including EC2, S3, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SSM, Inspector, and IAM.
Manage AWS security and compliance, performance, cloud resources, costs, and budgeting.
Automating backups, disaster recovery, and incident response.
Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Security, Architecture, Governance, and others to comply with governance and security requirements.
Automated monitoring of systems in production and troubleshooting.
Understand Architecture Design Patterns.
Ensures platform implementation has appropriate design patterns and coding standards in place.
Continuously works toward secure and scalable solutions.
Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD), build, test, and maintain infrastructure and tools to develop and release software.
Work with emerging technologies to develop solutions supporting development and migration (to AWS cloud) efforts that support the client's mission.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
10+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Cloud Computing concepts
10+ years of hands-on experience using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code/automation technology and one or more technologies for CI/CD systems like Jenkins, Kubernetes, ELK stack, Splunk, etc.
Hands-on experience with other IaC automation technologies like Ansible and CloudFormation.
Experience with Infrastructure Capacity Monitoring and Automated Scaling solutions.
10+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing container (Docker) solutions on Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
Experience setting up the Qualys tool, networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP, and using Git as a version control platform.
Strong hands-on coding in one or multiple mainstream languages like Python, Java, etc.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in RDBMS (Oracle, etc.)
Certifications:
Terraform Associate Certification is a plus
AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional or AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate is a plus
Clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust tier 4

Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
