Our customer is hiring a Data Scientist — with at least 3-5 years of experience working with complex datasets, data modeling, and analytics tools. This is a contract-based position (1 year) with the possibility of extension. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico or the United States; experience in telecommunications (Telco) companies is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Strong skills in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Experience in the Telco industry is a strong plus.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in Data Science, Statistics, or related fields are highly desirable.
