We’re seeking a Content Designer (UI Writer) to support a leading messaging services company's creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative design projects in a fast-paced environment, joining a very creative and collaborative design team.

This is a contract role, onsite 4 days a week at a Santa Monica office.

(4–6 months, 40 hours a week)

Content Designer (UI Writer) Responsibilities:

• Write microcopy for new features for app, web, and notification channels. (Experience as a content designer working on apps is essential)

• Writing mobile UI copy for new features, auditing language for quality and consistency, and collaborating closely with designers, PMs and user researchers

• Collaborate closely with product designers and product managers to build new products.

• Name features, audit language for quality and consistency, collaborate with Localization and User Research, and A/B test copy.

• Make sure language is consistent, accessible, translatable and aligns with best practice UX.

Content Designer (UI Writer) Qualifications:

• Experience writing for digital experiences such as websites, apps, emails etc., preferably in tech.

• Portfolio with Case studies that show your Content Design-led impact.

• Ability to be a strong advocate for Content Design, while build relationships with colleagues

• Skills in managing several concurrent projects and turning around copy on tight deadlines for a global brand.
