Job Overview
Better Planet LLC is seeking to expand our software developer talent. We are currently sourcing for several Full-Stack and Backend positions within our client portfolio, ranging from early-stage startups to established enterprises. Salary: $80,000 – $180,000+ per year (Final compensation scales with experience, technical proficiency, and specific partner demand).
Core Responsibilities
- Full-Life Cycle Development: Build, test, and deploy scalable software solutions (Frontend, Backend, or Full-Stack) tailored to specific partner needs.
- Problem Solving: Architect efficient code to solve complex challenges for companies across diverse industries.
- Collaboration: Work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements and participate in peer code reviews.
- Optimization: Improve application performance, ensure technical feasibility of designs, and optimize database queries (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications We prioritize demonstrated skill and project impact over a specific checklist of years. While we work across all tech stacks, we are generally looking for:
- Experience: 1-5+ years of professional development experience (Open to high-growth Juniors through seasoned Seniors).
- Programming Expertise: Proficiency in at least one major language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Rust, C#, or Ruby) and/or modern runtimes like Node.js/TypeScript.
- Web Frameworks: Hands-on knowledge of modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Django, FastAPI, or Ruby on Rails.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with cloud services (AWS or Azure) and familiarity with Linux servers or deployment pipelines.
- Systems Knowledge: Understanding of RESTful API design and version control tools (GitHub/Git).
- AI & Emerging Tech: Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGPT) and experience implementing LLM-orchestrated workflows or autonomous agent architectures.
- Mindset: A commitment to continuous learning and the ability to rapidly adapt to new technologies and evolving project requirements. You should thrive in fast-paced environments where 'learning on the job' is a core part of the engineering culture.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
