Position: Director of Information Technology
Location: Hybrid – Based in NYC

A growing, mission-driven real estate organization is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead its IT operations across a multi-state footprint. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical and strategic expertise, particularly in managing internal systems, outsourced IT support, compliance, and vendor partnerships.

The Director of IT will oversee service delivery across the enterprise, including infrastructure, help desk support, cybersecurity, onboarding, and equipment management, while ensuring business continuity and regulatory compliance. The position plays a vital role in aligning technology with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level IT infrastructure and applications
• Oversee internal and outsourced IT service providers, ensuring quality service and accountability
• Manage all IT projects, budgets, and vendor contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
• Analyze help desk ticket trends and implement process improvements
• Oversee onboarding and IT equipment tracking for new hires and internal transfers
• Maintain strong cybersecurity protocols and partner with external vendors for protection and training
• Develop and enforce IT governance, disaster recovery plans, and compliance with industry standards
• Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization

Qualifications:

• 7 + years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles
• Experience managing outsourced IT teams and third-party vendors
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Yardi, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture
• Proven track record of driving IT operational excellence and service improvement
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field required

Pay: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
