Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for extracting insights from complex datasets, developing predictive models, and implementing data-driven solutions to support business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and enhance decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, Spark, and R.
  • Conduct data mining and perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to prepare data for analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on database design and management to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and SQL for data manipulation and model deployment.
  • Employ natural language processing techniques to analyze unstructured data sources.
  • Work with big data technologies including Hadoop and AWS to manage large-scale datasets.
  • Create visualizations and reports using tools like Looker to communicate findings effectively.
  • Engage in model training and validation processes to enhance predictive accuracy.
  • Stay updated with advancements in AI, quantum engineering, and analytics methodologies.

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, Java, C
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks: TensorFlow, Spark
  • Strong understanding of unsupervised learning techniques
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as Talend
  • Knowledge of database design principles and SQL
  • Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop
  • Understanding of linked data concepts
  • Proficient in analytics tools and techniques
  • Ability to work with natural language processing applications
  • Familiarity with Bash (Unix shell) scripting
  • Knowledge of SAS for statistical analysis
  • Experience in model deployment practices

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $57.52 - $80.27 per hour
