Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Architect to lead enterprise-level BI initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, cloud-native analytics solutions. This role demands strong communication, leadership, and architectural skills, with a deep understanding of Microsoft’s data ecosystem including Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between onsite stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
• Lead end-to-end BI solution design, development, and deployment using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Power BI architecture and development.
• Strong expertise and knowledge in Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven experience in leading customer engagements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in hybrid delivery models (onsite-offshore).
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for BI deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Azure, or Fabric.
• Experience with Power BI Embedded and REST APIs.
• Exposure to and medallion design patterns.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
