Senior Product Designer (Accounting Domain)
Location: Onsite - New York, New York
$100,000-$200,000

A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its product team. This is a full-time, onsite role ideal for a creative and strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex problems and designing intuitive, impactful user experiences for enterprise software in the accounting space.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of end-to-end user experiences for accounting-focused digital products
  • Translate complex workflows and data into elegant, user-friendly interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define and refine product requirements
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices
  • Contribute to and help evolve the company's design system and visual language
  • Mentor junior designers and provide design leadership across projects
What We're Looking For:
  • Several years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise or B2B product design, ideally in finance or accounting
  • Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Solid understanding of user research methods, interaction design, and information architecture
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Nice to Have:
  • Background in accounting, finance, or familiarity with accounting software
  • Experience designing for data-heavy applications or dashboards
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/React) to better collaborate with developers
  • Prior experience mentoring designers or leading design initiatives
