Job description

Cape Fox is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team in support of a government customer. This position is contingent upon award. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure Salesforce solutions that align with enterprise goals. The Salesforce Architect will serve as a technical authority, collaborating with stakeholders across functional areas to ensure optimal system integration, data architecture, and platform performance while enforcing best practices and compliance with federal IT standards.

Core Duties:

· Design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions across clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.)

· Define system architecture and integration patterns (APIs, middleware)

· Create data models, security models, and technical standards

· Guide developers and admins on implementation aligned with business goals

· Conduct code reviews and ensure platform best practices

· Collaborate on enterprise architecture and governance strategy

· Release lifecycle coordination

· Risk management and stakeholder communication

· Process automation and optimization

· Platform updates and deployment governance

· Designing and implementing scalable, secure Salesforce solutions

· Defining architecture standards, governance, and technical roadmaps

· Advising on platform capabilities, data strategy, and system integrations

· Leading technical teams during complex multi-cloud or enterprise deployments

Requirements:

· Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)

· 8+ years of experience with Salesforce platform architecture, design, and implementation.

· Design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions across clouds (Sales, Service, Experience,

· Deep knowledge of Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and platform capabilities

· Experience defining and implementing integration strategies using APIs, middleware, and third-party tools

· Strong background in designing scalable data models and security frameworks within Salesforce

· Proficient in Salesforce development lifecycle, including DevOps, CI/CD, and version control (e.g., Git, Salesforce DX)

· Ability to lead technical design sessions and communicate complex technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders

· Familiarity with federal IT governance, compliance, and security standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP) is a plus

· Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills

· Must maintain and pass a Background Investigation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
