Job description

The IT Manager acts as the key advisor and project lead for the company’s technology infrastructure across all locations, ensuring high-level operational efficiency. The primary function is to analyze business technology needs, devise implementation strategies, and manage third-party providers for critical business systems. This role operates with high discretion, and consistent independence in directing technology strategy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, direct, and oversee the installation of new location technology infrastructure, including high-level network configuration, security surveillance, and transaction processing systems.
  • Ensure company-wide IT compliance.
  • Analyze existing business operational processes to recommend and implement technical solutions that enhance productivity.
  • Oversee network, servers, and systems, ensuring high uptime and reliability.
  • Set up and maintain security controls, policies, and data protection.
  • Monitor, analyze, and maintain network security protocols and firewalls to protect company assets, exercising independent judgment to address potential risks.
  • Plan and implement technology upgrades to support company growth.
  • Manage technology projects from planning to execution, ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Partner with external technology providers and partners.
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues and create long-term IT strategies.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in IT operations.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience scaling IT operations in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to partner with various departments.
  • Willingness to support after-hours needs to keep operations running.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Bakersfield, CA. Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
