System One is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity, with a remote work model.

This role focuses on deploying and maintaining enterprise applications, automating processes, and ensuring high-quality configuration management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy enterprise applications such as GitHub Enterprise and Jenkins.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

• Automate software installations and improve infrastructure reliability.

• Document installation procedures, configurations, and technical processes.

• Perform maintenance tasks, including patching, updates, and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with engineers and teams to optimize products and services.

• Stay updated on DevOps technologies and provide tier 3 application support.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and automation technologies (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience with Windows Server, Linux RHEL, containers (e.g., Docker), and SQL databases.

Preferred Skills:

• College degree and experience with infrastructure automation, disaster recovery, and virtualization.

• Knowledge of advanced DevOps practices and CI/CD optimization.
